I enjoyed the time spent in the site Del.icio.us this morning. It is interesting to see what other people are bookmarking from the web. It is amazing, and somewhat overwhelming, how much information is on the web. It is probably more information than the human brain can hold. Del.icio.us will be useful for librarians as they organize database sites, search engines, and general information.

Social Bookmarking

This morning I created my account in the Del.icio.us site for the Blue 2.0 training. I found this to be a very interesting site. This site would be very useful for libraries and librarians as links to important databases could be placed on it as a bookmark. The link to my bookmarks is:

Wikis

This morning I created a Wiki. The link to it is:

http://storagenotes.pbwiki.com/

I do not agree with the statement that "Wikis are as easy to create as a peanut butter sandwich". Even peanut butter sandwiches can be sticky at times. Creating the wiki was not very easy. At times, I felt like I was stuck in a loop.
However, I believe Wikis would be useful for project management in libraries as others could add to the post.
